BY A STAFF REPORTER: Finally Justice DY Chandrachud Takes Oath As Chief Justice of India. President of India Draupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to Chandrachud. Justice Chandrachud will serve as the head of the Supreme Court for two years till November 10, 2024. He succeeded Justice Uday Umesh Lalit, who held the top post for a short term of 74 days.
