PM to inaugurate 108-feet bronze statue of Kempegowda, Preparations are underway

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a 108-foot bronze statue of Bengaluru city founder Kempegowda on November 11. His preparations are going on. Preparations are underway at the Bengaluru airport premises in Devanahalli on Tuesday. Designed by renowned sculptor and Padma Bhushan awardee Ram Bhanji Sutar, the statue weighing 220 tonnes has been built at a cost of Rs 85 crore.
