By a Staff Reporter: The farewell ceremony of Chief Justice of India Uday Umesh Lalit was held at the Supreme Court. It was there that he was overcome with emotion during his speech.
He said, "My journey started from this court and ends today in the same court. This is a beautiful occasion for me and I could not have asked for anything greater. I have been in the Supreme Court for 37 years, 29 years as an advocate and last 8 years as a judge. Spent".
