Hong Kong police arrest high school children for alleged terror plot

Hong Kong police arrested nine persons including six high school children claiming that they were involved in an alleged terror plot. Police said they had rented a room in a hotel to build bombs. Cop s claimed that they have evidence that the high school children had planned to attack the city's courts, transport networks and streets.







The arrests come as Hong Kong's leader Carrie Lam warned against "illegal ideas" spreading through the city. The group is being held under the national security law, which has been used to crush dissent after years of pro-democracy protests.
