BY A STAFF REPORTER: Narendra Modi government at the Centre has made a big announcement for the poll-bound state of Gujarat. The central government has announced to give citizenship to non-Muslims from three countries who have come to Gujarat.

The Union Home Ministry has decided to give Indian citizenship to minority refugees from Pakistan and Bangladesh who have come to Gujarat. At the same time, the Ministry of Home Affairs has also decided to give citizenship to the minority refugees of Afghanistan coming to the state.
