World Cup 2010: One of the most controversial matches
By a Staff Reporter

One of the most controversial World Cup matches of all time. In the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup, Ghana and Uruguay leveled almost the entire match. Ghana got a penalty in the very last minute of the match due to Luis Suarez's behavior against football law. The African country maintained a 1–1 goal with Uruguay at the time. Suarez used his hand to stop Ghana's assured goal. Unfortunately Ghana's Asamoya Gian's penalty shot was deflected into the cross-bar. The match was therefore settled by tie breaker and Uruguay won.
