Police filed an FIR against the bridge maintenance company

By A Staff Reporter : An FIR has been registered against the bridge's maintenance and management agencies, Gujarat police sources said. A case has been registered under sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide), and 114 (presence of abettor during the commission of the offence) of the IPC, said Prakashbhai Dekavadia, Inspector of Police, Morbi B Division.

"The cable bridge over the river was kept open without proper repair and maintenance and carelessness of the management and the bridge collapsed due to technical problems," Police Inspector Decavadia said.
