40 injured as cylinder explodes during preparation of Chhath Puja prasad

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A massive fire broke out in Bihar ahead of Chhath Puja. Around 40 people were injured when an LPG cylinder exploded at Shahganj Teli Mohalla in Bihar's Aurangabad district late on Saturday night. Among them are civilians and police personnel.  









The condition of many of the injured is stated to be critical. According to sources, the fire broke out due to a gas cylinder leakage in the house of local resident Anil Goswami. On receiving the news, people from nearby areas also rushed to the spot to help douse the fire. In the meantime, the gas cylinder exploded. Several people, including five policemen, were injured in the cylinder blast.
