BY A STAFF REPORTER: New twist in teacher recruitment scam at WB. TMC MLA Manik Bhattacharya has moved the Supreme Court in a corruption case.
Manik's petition was dismissed by the Supreme Court. The MLA had recently moved the Supreme Court against the ED's arrest, though manik's case against the arrest was dismissed on Thursday. As a result, the removed board president will have to remain in jail for the time being.
