By a Staff Reporter: Howrah Railway Police arrested a notorious robber on Wednesday. The robber's name is Amar Chowdhury. He is a resident of Kalyani in Nadia. He was arrested from the north concourse area of the old complex of Howrah railway station. 3 stolen mobiles were recovered from him. He confessed to the crime during interrogation. It is known from him that several of his accomplices were arrested during the robbery on October 10. But he managed to escape. There is a case against him under section 399 and 402 IPC. The Howrah GRPS has started an investigation.
