ICC T20 World Cup: Historic win for Namibia as they won over SriLanka

History creats at the beginning of the group stage of the T20 World Cup 2022. Namibia defeated Sri Lanka. Namibia won by 55 runs against the island nation. Jan Frylinck scored most runs for Namibia in this match, scoring 44 runs. 

Batting first, Namibia scored 163/7. In reply, Sri Lanka manage to score only 108 runs, with one over remaining. Namibian all-rounder Jan Frylinck was one of the architects of this historic win. He scored 44 runs in 28 balls and took two wickets. Frylinck selected as man of the match. Sacin Tendulkar tweeted, "Namibia 🇳🇦 has told the cricketing world today… “Nam” yaad rakhna!"
