Low pressure over Bay of Bengal with possibility of cyclogenesis in few days

By A Staff Reporter : A depression is likely to form over southeast and adjoining central parts of Bay of Bengal with possibility of moderate cyclogenesis, IMD said.The low pressure area is likely to move west-northwestward and may condense into a depression over west-central Bay of Bengal from October 21 to October 27, the IMD forecast.

Advancing west-northwestward, a cyclonic storm is likely to form over North Andaman Sea and adjoining areas around October 17-18 and further concentration into a low pressure area over southeast and adjoining central Bay of Bengal by October 20.
