Naraka Chaturdashi: Narakasura troubled the gods and humans

According to Vishnu and Shrimad Bhagavata Purana, a demon named Narakasura had troubled the gods and humans with his power. The Asuras had detained 16,000 women, including saints. When his atrocities increased a lot, God and sage came to the shelter of Lord Krishna and said that by ending this Narakasura, reduce the burden of the father on earth.
