According to him, Kusum Sarovar is the face of Govardhan Hill, and Punchari is the ridge and tail feather of the hill. Krishnadasa Kaviraja Goswami has compared the description of the shape of Govardhana Hill to a peacock standing with its neck bent and its head under its belly.
