Indonesia: Diwali is a big festival in this country. The celebration of this festival is very much like india. Since this day is the national holiday of this country, this day is celebrated by the people here as the day of union. Everyone meets, eats and drinks, parties are held, the people of the country become matooras in the festive mood.

Fuji: The number of Indians in this country is so high that the festival of Diwali is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. Since this day is considered as a national holiday, there is a party on that day. It is customary to give gifts to each other on this day.

Mauritius: Most of this country belongs to the Hindu community. So Diwali is not celebrated here in a much smaller part than in India.

Malaysia: Diwali is known as 'Hari Diwali' in Malaysia. The celebration of Diwali is a little different from Diwali in India. On this day, people take a bath in the morning and then go to the temple to offer prayers.



Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka also celebrates Diwali with great enthusiasm and it is one of the most loved festivals in the country.
