BY A STAFF REPORTER: Now Strong Earthquack were felt in the South Sandwich Islands near South Georgia. An earthquake of magnitude 7.0 hit here at around 8:33 am. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground. The National Center for Seismology gave this information. No loss of life or property has been reported so far. There has also been no tsunami warning.
