BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Indian Meteorological Department has given new information about the weather during the festival season. As per IMD report, "A cyclonic circulation lies over northwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal at lower and middle tropospheric levels. Due to this, heavy rains accompanied by lightning are likely to occur in Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura in the next few days. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands on September 29 and 30."
