BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Income Tax department is conducting raids on politicians. Raids are underway in multiple cities in several states. It has been alleged that these political parties were involved in serious financial irregularities by accepting donations without proper statutory consent. On Wednesday, an Income Tax team raided the residence of Rashtriya Biplobi Samajwadi Party leader Gopal Rai in Lucknow in connection with a tax evasion case. Besides, it is being raided at the factory of state minister and Congress MLA from Kotputli Rajendra Singh Yadav in connection with the mid-day meal scam.
