BY A STAFF REPORTER: On Wednesday morning, the CBI raided the residence of state Law Minister Malay Ghatak in connection with the coal smuggling case. The CBI delegation arrived at The House of Malay Ghatak in Asansol at around 8.15 am. According to CBI sources, minister Malay Ghatak's name has cropped up several times while investigating the coal smuggling case. The minister's house has been cordoned off from all sides.
