By a Staff Reporter: Mizoram was shaken by an earthquake at midnight. The earthquake was felt at 12:50 midnight on September 7. The earthquake was felt 50 km east of Champai in Mizoram.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 4.0. The source of the earthquake was 13 km below the ground. No damage has been reported so far as a result of the earthquake.
