 There is not even a month left for the puja. From now on, there has been a lot of enthusiasm. The people of Bengal are celebrating Durga Puja, the best festival of bengalis. However, Bengalis live everywhere in the world. And wherever four Bengalis live together, a Durga Puja is organized there. Durga Puja is celebrated in Australia as well as in India. In 1974, 12 Bengali families started the first Durga Puja in New South Wales. However, this puja is now celebrated in all the cities of Australia. There are a lot of Bengali families in Sydney. Apart from this, Durga Puja is also celebrated in Melbourne.

Durga Puja is celebrated in Kisboro, the southern suburb of Melbourne. Puja at Kisboro is a community affair and everyone participates in the process.
