A special attraction of Durga Puja is the khichuri bhog on Mahashtami. The taste of this khichuri is incomparable. This khichuri made of rice and dal is eaten in the afternoon of Ashtami in many puja mandaps.
Along with that khichuri, five types of fried food are also offered to Maa Durga.
