Ganapati with one leg on the head of a fish

By A Staff Reporter : Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are going on.The festival is celebrated with great fanfare in Maharashtra.One of the pujas in Mumbai is the Raja of Lalbagh.This year is the 89th year of this puja.Here Ganesha is presented as the king of Laglabagh.This year there is novelty in the mandap and idols.Two Ganesha idols are being worshiped in the mandap.

One is a seated figure of Ganesha, the other is a standing figure with four hands on a fish.The entire mandap has a bluish glow.In front of Ganapati, arrangements have been made for a small reservoir. Where there are turtles from colorful fish. Devotees gather to see this fancy puja. Even Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray came to Ganpati Darshan. What did he say? Here is the video.
