Tukaram Bhaurao Sathe, popularly known as Anna Bhau Sathe, was a social reformer, folk poet, and writer from Maharashtra, India

BY A STAFF REPORTER, Pune (29/8):Sathe was a Dalit born into the untouchable community, and his upbringing and identity were central to his writing and political activism. He was a Marxist-Ambedkarite mosaic, initially influenced by the communists but he later became an Ambedkarite. He is credited as a founding father of 'Dalit Literature' and played vital role in Samyukta Maharashtra Movement.

Spread Happiness Foundation continues to do philanthropic work for the betterment of society and helping the needy.After many ups and down finally Spread Happiness Foundation has been honored with the State level Samaj Bhushan Award organised by Sahitya Samrat Anna Bhao Sathe Adhar Prathisthan on the occasion of 102 birthday Anniversary at Ullash Nagar, Mumbai on 28th Aug 2022. Acharya Dr Ratanlal Sonagre , Pramod Hindrao alog with many state and central government officers and politicians along with Rashtrapati Puraskar Dr Balasaheb Netak were present for this occasion.

The Chairman & Founder of Spread Happiness Foundation Mr Soumya Ranjan Mahapatro , General Secretary Mr Anand Kumar Mohapatra , Technical Head Mrs Isha Mishra ,and Spiritual Head Mrs Pranati Sabat were present in the said occasion and received the Samaj Bhushan Award.
