By a Staff Reporter: US sends 2 warships to Taiwan. 2 of these warships have been sent through the Taiwan Strait.
The two warships are the guided-missile cruisers USS Antietam and USS Chancellorsville. This is the first transit by the United States to Taiwan since US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.
