BY A STAFF REPORTER: Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today said 5G services will be rolled out in the country by October 12. We are planning to launch 5G services soon, telecom operators are working on that and installations are being done. Hopefully the service will be launched by October 12. The Department of Telecommunications has already confirmed that 13 cities in India will get high-speed internet services in the first phase.
The first 5G service will be launched in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune.
