Yesterday Nifty settled at 17605 up by 27 points Day to day basis amid consolidation and volatility ahead of August F&O series expiry.
Day started with slight subdued mode at 17525 but took support from 17500 then though bounced smartly in 1st leg of the session but maintained 100 points narrow range momentum between 17525 to 17625 range and finally closed above 17600.
Technically as per daily charts formed 2nd consecutive bullish candle with small bodied followed by day before yesterday’s long bodied bullish piercing candle.
After recent big fall with Gap from very strong resistance area 18000 then took support form expected lower slab 17350 <20DSMA> and then maintaining some consolidation now turned to bounce.
On the Upside :- More bullish momentum is expected after crossing 5-9-13 days cluster movs i.e. in between 17675 to 17720 range. Uptrend possible if Nifty closes above 17720 on expiry day.
Upside immediate resistance :- 17650/75—17710/30 range. Break out hurdles only above :- 17730 & then 17777--17830 -17910 possible.
On the down side immediate supports :- 17470--17430. Below 17430 (Running 20dma) then projected lower supports are :- 17370--17300.
Positional break out above 18000 & positional break down below 17200.
Options data indicated that in the immediate term, Nifty may see a trading range of 17350 to 17800 levels.
India VIX, was cooled off to 18.43 levels down by 3.25%, making the trend favourable for bulls.
