A planned detonation of seized fireworks ended in a tragedy with 16 people suffering serious injuries in south Los Angeles. According to local officials, authorities had seized large quantities of illegal fireworks and were planning to detonate them when the explosion took place. The injured were rushed to the nearest Hospital. Authorities have not confirmed any casualty so far.
