PM Modi pays homage to all those who lost their lives during Partition

BY A STAFF REPORTER: On August 14, 1947, the two countries were partitioned. Millions of people lost their lives. Partition destroyed millions of countrymen and struck a powerful blow to Akhand Bharat. 

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted about this. He tweeted that, 'Today on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, I pay homage to all those who lost their lives during Partition , and applaud the resilience as well as grit of all those who suffered during that tragic period of our history.'
