Earth rotates faster, completing a rotation in less than 24 hours; sets record for shortest day

By a staff reporter-The shortest month in the history of the planet since the 1960s occurred in 2020. The shortest day ever was recorded on July 19 of the same year. It was shorter than a normal 24-hour day by 1.47 milliseconds.
