By A Staff Reporter: More districts are being expanded in West Bengal for the benefit of the people of the state. This was announced by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in a press conference. Sundarbans will be a new district after breaking the South 24 Parganas. North 24 Parganas will be divided into Ichamati District.
Another district will be the district adjacent to Basirhat (the name of the district is not fixed). Also district number 4 will be Ranaghat. Bankura will be divided into Bishnupur district. Also, Murshidabad will be broken into Baharampur district. Also will be Kandi/Jangipur district.
