By a Staff Reporter: Nepal was shaken by a big earthquake in the morning. Kathmandu, Nepal was shaken by the earthquake. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.5 on the Richter scale. 

The epicenter was 147 km south-east of Kathmandu. The earthquake was felt in Kathmandu today at 7:58 am local time. No casualty has yet been reported as a result of the incident.
