Ananya Saha-Bengaluru police on Friday arrested an alleged interstate criminal who is accused of stealing several two-wheelers across the state. Cops also recovered ₹7.5 lakh and 9 two-wheelers from the accused within Vijayanagar police station in Bengaluru. All the money and vehicles recovered were secured.
Laxman B. Nimbargi, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), West Bengaluru took to social media and wrote, “Bengaluru Police tracked down and arrested an accused inter-state thief for stealing vehicles across Karnataka. 7.5 million rupees were recovered from the accused and 9 motorcycles were recovered by us (Sic). Officers also shared a picture of the recovered vehicles, which displayed a wide variety of two-wheelers, including scooters and sleek motorbikes.
