Wanted criminal arrested after encounter with police

Ananya Saha-A criminal named in 22 cases of looting, extortion and attempted murder was arrested after an encounter with Lucknow police in Gomtinagar in the early hours of Saturday. The arrested criminal was identified as Siraj (35). Prachi Singh, DCP East Zone, said Siraj carried a reward of Rs 20,000 and was on the run for the past 20 years.
