India's third team at chess Olympiad

By a Staff Reporter: The 44th Chess Olympiad will be held in Mahabalipuram from July 28 to August 10. After entering there at the last minute, India registered a third team in the open section. There are a record number of 187 teams in the competition. The highest ever for any chess Olympiad. The third Indian team comprising Grandmaster Surya Shekhar Ganguly, Karthikeyan Murali, SP Sethuraman, Abhijit Gupta and Abhimanyu Puranik has been formed.
