Boy, shot in abdomen at Plantation apartment

Ananya Saha-Plantation firefighters took an injured Plantation boy to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale on Friday. Officer Chavez Grant, a spokesman for the Plantations Police Department, said the 5-year-old boy was in stable condition after being shot in the abdomen. Detectives suspect the boy somehow got hold of a loaded gun and shot himself, police said.
