Chelsea have submitted an official bid of $55 million for the player , but Kounde has asked Sevilla to wait for Barcelona , as he desires to play for the Catalan club . Barcelona have activated their second lever , which will give them an additional $200 million budget in transfers . Today is the key day for this saga to end .
Chelsea now believe they’ve won the race for Jules Kounde. Barca still haven’t formally bid & accept they can’t match #CFC’s offer. Sevilla & Chelsea have an agreement with only minor points being finalised. Personal terms to Kounde preferable to what Barcelona offered, too.
