The epicentre, hypocenter, or focus of an earthquake is what it is known as. The energy of the earthquake is determined from this location in the form of vibrations and waves. These vibrations resemble the waves created when stones are thrown into a still body of water. The epicentre of the earthquake, or the location where it splits the earth's surface, is the line that runs through the centre of the planet and the epicentre of the earthquake. This location on the earth's surface is closest to the earthquake's epicentre, according to recognised norms.
