SRILANKA’S ACTING PRESIDENT DECLARES EMERGENCY

Acting Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe has pronounced a highly sensitive situation in the

country. "It is helpful, so to do, considering a genuine worry for public security, the confirmation of

public solicitation and the help of arrangements and organizations pivotal for the presence of the

neighborhood," warning communicated. Last week the crisis was pronounced after President Gotabaya

Rajapaksa's departure.
