A West Bengal cadre IPS officer has made his way into a top international award. According to information available with ANM News, Burdwan superintendent of police, Kamanasish Sen has won the prestigious International Association of Chiefs of Police 40 under 40, 2022. A grand jury of eminent and senior policemen of IACP, a US based international police body, scanned through 1300 police officers across the globe to shortlist Sen as an award winner.

``Kamanashish Sen has been chosen for his excellent work in demonstrating leadership and deep commitment to the profession,'' the ICAP communique mentioned. He is the only IPS officer from the state to be selected for the award which will be presented on Monday October 17, in Dallas in Texas, USA.
