4 minors held for shooting at man in Delhi

By a Staff Reporter: According to police, the bullet struck the victim's eye, but his condition is stable. During the investigation, the youngsters revealed that the victim had beaten one of their fathers seven months prior and that they planned to get revenge on him.

A CCTV camera captured the shooting event. When the lads approached, the victim was seated in front of a residence. They all fled the scene when one of them fired at him.



Police said four youths were arrested on Friday evening in Jahangirpuri, North West Delhi, for allegedly firing at a 36-year-old man.

The victim, named as Javed, a resident of Jahangirpuri's H Block, was taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital and then to a higher level of care, according to Usha Rangnani, deputy commissioner of police (north west). His health is steady. A call of a gunshot injury to a guy was received at the control room around 5.15 p.m., according to police.



During an investigation, the victim informed police that he was sitting on the street on Friday evening when four youths approached, shot him in the face, and left. He said that the victim knew the lads. According to authorities, the bullet struck his eye, and his status is stable. The juveniles were captured during the investigation, and they revealed that the victim had beaten one of their fathers seven months before, and they sought vengeance on him.
