BARCELONA PUSHING FOR LEWANDOWSKI

KOLKATA , JULY 15th , BY A STAFF REPORTER : After completing three successful signings in the span of two weeks , Barcelona look to close in on Polish superstar Robert Lewandowski , who had openly expressed his desire to join the Blaugranas . Bayern has been trying to block the move by rejecting Barca’s bids , but the Catalan club has submitted a fresh bid of $50 million , which should be accepted by the Bavarians . Lewandowski’s Bayern contract ends next year in June , but Barca are keen to add the no.9 to their ranks from this season .
