Top Gun:Maverick, starring Tom Cruise, breaks Titanic's box- office record,

BY MANSI KUMARI: Top Gun: Maverick has officially broken another record of James Cameron's 1997 mega movie Titanic to set another milestone. Kosinski's film is presently the highest-grossing domestic feature in Paramount's 110-year history. The movie has finally broken Titanic's record of $600.7 million in the United States. Top Gun 2 has so far grossed $601.9 million in the United States.

​The movie , had a large and aggressive marketing campaign leading up to its release, which undoubtedly helped with initial ticket sales, but the film's high quality and strong reviews have also been a big component to its sustained popularity even after many weeks.
