Amartya Sen The Nobel laureate was tested positive for Covid-19

Ananya Saha  : Well-known economist Amartya Sen, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, has been tested for Covid-19. He is currently 89 years old. 

Sen, known for his role in social economics, economic and social justice, development economics and electoral theory, is currently being held in solitary confinement at the residence of his ancestor "Pratichi" in Bolpur-Shantiniketan in the Birbhum region of West Bengal.
