ITBP workers are conducting rescue operations on the Beas River

By A Staff Reporter : The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is conducting a rescue operation in the middle of the Beas River along the Manali Highway in Chandigarh.The adventurous operation is going on at the risk of their own lives. ITBP workers rushed to the rescue after a car with two passengers sank in the Beas River due to the sudden flood.The two passengers of the vehicle have not yet been found and a rescue operation is underway to find them.

Incidentally, heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh have caused landslides in several areas. A woman was killed and two others were injured in a landslide caused by heavy rains in a mountainous state.
