Indian Foreign Minister discussed about border issue with the Chinese Foreign Minister

By A Staff Reporter : Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jayashankar met with Chinese Foreign Minister War Ye in Bali, Indonesia. Jaishankar is in Bali to attend the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting (FMM). The meeting is taking place within the framework of the Indonesian G20 Presidency.

It is reported that they have discussed the border issue.In addition to focusing on specific issues of bilateral relations related to the border situation, they also discussed a number of issues, including students and flights.India and China have been stranded on the border in eastern Ladakh for many years, where the Chinese have deployed heavy troops.Ongoing clashes erupted in 2020 after the Chinese side advanced into India's claimed territory.The two sides have discussed 15 points to resolve the stalemate, which has been going on for more than two years now.
