WB government reshuffles IPS officer, spring major surprises

The state government reshuffled several IPS officers on Wednesday. According to home department communique, Piyush Pandey replaced Vivek Sahay as the director of CM security. Manoj Verma will be the new IGP Law and order while Dr BL Meena has been transferred as IGP Malda range. Former Howrah police commissioner C Sudhakar who was currently posted as joint commissioner of police in Kolkata police has been shifted as DIG Jalpaiguri range.
