Sanjay Raut opens up on Shinde's hotel politics

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Eknath Shinde has become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra with the support of the BJP by declaring rebellion against Uddhav Thackeray. Eknath broke the party and took over the throne in a dramatic manner by moving from Maharashtra to Surat and locked up in a hotel in Guwahati. Some call eknath's accession to the throne a masterstroke, some call it a betrayal. Eknath's hotel politics was not unknown to Shiv Sena spokesperson-MP Sanjay Raut. Sanjay Raut said, "He too had received an offer to accompany the rebel MLAs to a hotel in Guwahati. But he did not respond to Eknath Shinde's appeal because of his adherence to Balasaheb Thackeray's principles. What's the fear when you're really with us?"
