BY A STAFF REPORTER: Results of by-elections in six wards of the state were made public on Wednesday. Trinamool has won in many places. Trinamool's Kanaklata Das has won in ward number 3 in Vatpara. Trinamool's Tapas Das won in ward number 4 of Dum Dum.
Trinamool candidate Banashree Chattopadhyay won in ward number 29 of South Dum Dum. Meenakshi Dutta, wife of slain Trinamool councillor Anupam Dutta, who won in ward number 8 of Panihati in North 24 Parganas.
