G7: PM Modi gifted Ram Darbar to Indonesian President

​ BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a foreign visit to attend the G-7 meeting. In the meantime, PM Modi has gifted The Lakarwar Ram Darbar to Indonesian President Joko Widodo from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

 Wooden statues of gods, goddesses and holy creatures served as alluring souvenirs taken back by the pilgrims. This particular touro is made on the wood of the 'golar' (botanical name: Ficus Resmosa).
